The Highlights

To better position the Manhattan Community Health Foundation (MCHF) for greater visibility, engagement, and long-term impact, here are a few things we tackled:

  • Developed a new messaging strategy to clearly position MCHF as a catalyst for community health and wellness
  • Designed and launched a modern, mobile-optimized and SEO-forward website: healthymhk.com
  • Built a strong foundation for future public relations, donor engagement, and community outreach

The Challenge

Although the Manhattan Community Health Foundation (MCHF) plays a vital role in building a healthier Manhattan, community awareness of the organization remained low. MCHF needed a clearer story, a stronger digital presence, and a platform that could help differentiate them from other local health-focused nonprofits.

The existing public perception didn’t match the Foundation’s diverse initiatives - from scholarships to transportation services to critical health partnerships. A website that could amplify MCHF’s full impact and inspire greater support was essential.

The Solution

  • Positioned MCHF as the leading advocate for regional health and wellness initiatives.
  • Established a strong digital foundation to support future media outreach, donor growth, and community partnerships.
  • Created greater alignment between MCHF’s brand story, its mission, and its future impact goals.

Since launching the messaging strategy and the new website, the number of site visitors has steadily increased, giving the Foundation more visibility in the region and the potential to raise more dollars to support health needs in the community.
