Kramer Oil collaborated with Mayes MarCom to enhance its social presence and brand engagement. This comprehensive project involved social media content creation and management, radio advertising, and professional photography and videography to tell Kramer Oil's story in a way that connected with its audience.

The Challenge

Kramer Oil, a third-generation family-owned gas and oil business, needed to expand its digital footprint to reach a wider audience while staying true to its commitment to community and customer service. Their goals included:

  • Increasing engagement on Facebook and Instagram, with the ultimate goal of reaching local audiences more effectively through digital marketing.

Before working with Mayes MarCom, Kramer Oil experienced low reach and impressions on social media, limited clicks, and slow audience growth.

The Solution

Mayes MarCom implemented a multifaceted strategy to meet Kramer Oil's goals, including:

  • Social Media Content Creation and Optimization: Developed and executed a content calendar featuring engaging posts about industry insights, company milestones, and the company and Kramer family’s involvement in the community. Over time, analytics were used to refine strategies and increase engagement.
  • Radio Advertising: Created compelling radio ad scripts to highlight Kramer Oil's services, emphasizing their local roots, the seasonality of what they offer, and their reliability as a community partner.
  • Photography and Videography: Conducted professional photo and video shoots that captured Kramer Oil’s operations and community commitment. These assets were used across marketing channels to elevate storytelling.

The Results

Our two-year partnership delivered measurable success for Kramer Oil, including:

  • Increased Social Media Engagement
    • On Facebook, we ramped up the content strategy considerably between November 2023 and December 2024. This led to drastic increases in post impressions (6,416 to 105,619), post reach (from 5,227 to 85,708) and total engagements (613 to 17,397). Kramer Oil also saw comparable increases in engaged users, reactions, link clicks, and new fans.
    • On Instagram increased post quality and frequency earned 12,187 impressions (up from just over 1,000 the year prior), reached 7,497 people (a 962% increase), and received 649 likes, 20 comments, and a handful of new followers.
  • Enhanced Brand Visibility: These results reflect dramatic improvements in visibility, awareness, and credibility, helping Kramer Oil become a more familiar and trusted name across digital channels.
  • Audience Growth and Community Connection: Through consistent, community-focused content, customers praised Kramer Oil’s authentic messaging and the way it showcased its local roots and dedication to service.
  • Professional Visual Assets: High-quality imagery and videos elevated Kramer Oil’s brand presentation and resonated with both current and potential customers.
